• If Winning Is Everything, Then Think Again

Talking about winning. Win, you might consider as one of the best things that might happen in your lives. But people can't always win. Because if you never loose you will not learn the real fact of life.

Crime: Burnt Down the House For RM10

Tuesday, May 15, 2012 2 comments

He burnt down his family's house because his demand for RM10 so that he could buy drug was denied by his father. The say that drugs are your enemies, undisputed. I don't think he would burn down the house if he is no drug addict.

The news is reported in Berita Harian today, He just 22 years old and unless he comes back to right path, he will paint the black color to his future. Life is destroyed because of drugs, non-contested, most people will agree unless you're currently drug addicts.

Please, keep your families and friends from drug abuse. It does no good to anybody or anything.

World: 11 May 1934 | Worse Dust Storm in USA

Friday, May 11, 2012 0 comments

Today, we hear environmentalists fight against activities that destroy earth. Notwithstanding we're claiming ourselves as environmentalists or not, we have responsibilities towards our earth.

We are not able to do everything. Individual may not able to ask factories' owners shut down their factories because the smoke from factories pollutes the air.

You just do a little thing you could've done. Please throw the rubbish in the damn bin. Please turn off the light, the fan, the air-cond, the computers if you're not using them.

And uncontrol activities on earth will lead to disaster. History proves it. In May 1934 dust storm sweeps across easter states in USA. The events that led to the storm was as follow:

By the early 20th century, however, farmers had ploughed over much of the grass to create fields. The U.S. entry into World War I in 1917 caused a great need for wheat, and farms began to push their fields to the limit, ploughing more and more grassland with the newly invented tractor. This continued after the war, when the introduction of even more powerful gasoline tractors sped up the process. During the 1920s, wheat production increased by 300%, causing a glut in the market by 1931.

He Just Stood Against Bully

Should anybody blame him just because he struck back his bully? I won't say I am glad to watch him slammed the boy onto the floor but we may want to call it as "self defense". He won't attack if he was not attacked. But seriously, when I watched the video for the very first time, I said by my self, "you deserve to be slammed by the kid you bullied, a**h***".

If you're making a search on the net or books or any other source, you'll find the negativity of bullying. It could lead to low self-esteem or it could lead to the person becomes angry/dangerous in the future. Let's stand against bully as no one shouldn't be ill-treated in any way.

Crime: Woman Abusing Toddler

I believe almost all of us have seen the clip of a woman abusing a toddler. If we are to choose a word to describe her violence, we may say "cruel or inhumane" or some other words you could think. When I watched the clip, I said "stupid woman".

Police report was lodged and the woman had been arrested. In one point we could see the benefit of social network - preventing the crime - does it sound good? If it is not because of the clip being circulated on Facebook, watched by Facebookers, thing might be worse for the baby.

It was reported that the woman was found guilty under Section 31 (1) of the Child Act 2001 and sentence to 18-months imprisonment.

Section 31 (1) of the Act reads as follow:

31. (1) A ny person who, being a person having the care of a child—
(a) abuses, neglects, abandons or exposes the child in a manner likely to cause him physical or emotional injury or causes or permits him to be so abused, neglected, abandoned or exposed; or

(b) sexually abuses the child or causes or permits him to be so abused, commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding twenty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years or to both.
